Christoph Boner has been the Chief Investment Officer of IHAG Private Bank since 2021. Previously, he spent 12 years in various roles in the investment division of VP Bank, where he was responsible for product development and the organization of the investment process. In 2014, he assumed the role of CIO, overseeing the bank’s entire investment management, including discretionary mandates and the wealth management business.
Christoph Boner began his career as a Quantitative Analyst in the CIO Office at Julius Baer. In 2005, he took on the role of Head of Investment Engineering, where he was responsible for the investment strategies within the bank’s wealth management business.
Christoph Boner holds a Master’s degree from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and has successfully earned the CFA, FRM, CAIA, and CESGA certifications.
